38 special

This first target is a little messy, it got dropped walked on, and it was shot up some with a 22, but you can clearly see the 6 shot group from my SW 585 shooting 38 special loads that had some old junk powder that I want to get rid of shooting at 25 yards. I didn't mean to use these loads because I am sure they are not the most accurate but I left the good load home, and since it came out nice I figured what the heck I will post them, IM sure people will be interested. I cant test outdoor right now as its to cold, and theirs 20" of snow outside. Click on the picture to see a bigger image.

Here is another one just to show its not a fluke,  I kept this target from getting trampled.

45 ACP targets, these targets were shot on a nice day but there was a cross gusting wind not real bad but I'm suspecting that some of the holes were helped by that occasional breeze that blew up. My gun is not been totally reworked to be accurate (Colt 70 series Gold Cup with fitted barrel and bushing), but it is tight (its plenty good enough for me). And I was shooting off a ransome rest, that was not mounted so I did have to manually re-zero after every shot, just a step up from a sand bag. This summer I will use a mounted ransom rest. But this should give you an idea these bullets will shoot.

I could fire 3 rounds and say wow look at how great they are, but that's not real life, this is an honest 10 rounds fired one after another, not picking from 10 targets that only 3 or 4 bullets were shot into. I would have a pile of targets with one hole in them if I chose to do that.
